26 अप्रैल, 2020 को संपूर्ण विश्व में ‘विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा दिवस’ (World Intellectual Property Day) मनाया गया है।
मुख्य विषय (Theme)- Innovate for a Green Future।
उद्देश्य- बौद्धिक संपदा के अधिकारों (पेटेंट, ट्रेडमार्क, औद्योगिक डिजाइन, कॉपीराइट इत्यादि) के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करना।
विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा संगठन (WIPO) ने वर्ष 2000 में प्रतिवर्ष 26 अप्रैल को इस दिवस को मनाने की घोषणा की थी।
WIPO संयुक्त राष्ट्र के 15 विशिष्ट एजेंसियों में से एक है।
इसकी स्थापना 14 जुलाई, 1967 को हुई थी।
इसका मुख्यालय जिनेवा, स्विट्जरलैंड में है।

World Intellectual Property Day has been celebrated on 26 April 2020 all over the world.
Main theme - Innovate for a Green Future.
Purpose - to make people aware of intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, industrial design, copyrights etc.).
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) announced to celebrate this day in the year 2000 on 26 April every year.
WIPO is one of the 15 specialized agencies of the United Nations.
It was established on 14 July 1967.
It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
