• 21 अप्रैल, 2020 को देश भर में सिविल सेवा दिवस (Civil Service Day) मनाया गया।
• उल्लेखनीय है की 21 अप्रैल 1947 को आज के ही दिन मेटकॉफ हाउस में प्रथम सिविल सेवा सत्र को सम्बोधित करते हुए देश के प्रथम गृह मंत्री सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल ने सिविल सेवकों को स्टील फ्रेम ऑफ़ इंडिया कहा था।
• ज्ञातव्य है कि भारत सरकार ने वर्ष 2006 से प्रत्येक वर्ष 21 अप्रैल को सिविल सेवा दिवस के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया था।

• Civil Service Day was observed across the country on 21 April 2020.
• It is worth mentioning that while addressing the first civil service session at Metkoff House on 21 April 1947, the first Home Minister of the country, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, called the civil servants the Steel Frame of India.
• It is known that the Government of India decided to celebrate April 21 every year as Civil Service Day from the year 2006.
