1. What are Acids?

Ans.The Substances which are sour in taste are called Acids.

1. अम्ल क्या हैं?

उत्तर: जो पदार्थ स्वाद में खट्टे होते हैं, उन्हें अम्ल कहा जाता है।

 

2. Name two substances that are acidic in nature?

Ans. Lemon and Tamarind.

2. अम्लीय प्रकृति वाले किन्हीं दो पदार्थों के नाम बताइए?

उत्तर: नींबू और इमली।

 

3. What are Bases?

Ans. The substances that feel soapy to touch and bitter in taste are called Bases.

3. क्षार (Bases) क्या हैं?

उत्तर: वे पदार्थ जो छूने में साबुन जैसे और स्वाद में कड़वे होते हैं, क्षार कहलाते हैं।

 

4. What are indicators?

Ans. The Substances which are used to test whether a substance is acidic or basic are called indicators.

4. सूचक (Indicators) क्या हैं?

उत्तर: वे पदार्थ जिनका उपयोग यह पता लगाने के लिए किया जाता है कि कोई पदार्थ अम्लीय है या क्षारीय, उन्हें सूचक कहा जाता है।

 

5. Write the types of Indicators

Ans. There are three types of indicators:

A. Natural Indicator

B. Synthetic Indicator

C. Olfactory Indicator

5. सूचकों के प्रकार लिखिए ?

उत्तर: सूचक तीन प्रकार के होते हैं:

A. प्राकृतिक सूचक।

B. कृत्रिम सूचक।

C. गंधीय सूचक।

 

6. What are Natural Indicators?

Ans. Natural Indicators which is found in nature.

Example:- Turmeric, Red cabbage, china Rose, etc.

6. प्राकृतिक सूचक क्या हैं?

उत्तर: प्राकृतिक सूचक वे हैं जो प्रकृति में पाए जाते हैं।

उदाहरण:- हल्दी, लाल पत्तागोभी, चाइना रोज आदि।
