Ans. Electricity is a form of energy which is used for cooking, lighting, transportation, heating and cooling, entertainment, communication and others.

उत्तर: एक बंद पथ जिससे होकर विद्युत धारा प्रवाहित होती है, उसे विद्युत परिपथ कहते हैं।

 

Q3. What is open circuit?

Ans. A circuit in which the continuity is broken due to which the electric current cannot flow is known as the open circuit.

उत्तर: एक ऐसा परिपथ जिसमें निरंतरता टूट जाती है, जिसके कारण विद्युत धारा प्रवाहित नहीं हो सकती, उसे खुला परिपथ कहा जाता है।

Ans. A closed circuit is a complete circuit where the path is continuous, allowing current to flow.

उत्तर: बंद परिपथ एक पूर्ण परिपथ है जहाँ पथ निरंतर होता है, जिससे धारा प्रवाहित हो सकती है।

Ans.  A battery is defined as the combination of two or more cells.

उत्तर: बैटरी को दो या दो से अधिक सेलों के संयोजन के रूप में परिभाषित किया जाता है।

Q6. What is Electric Cell?

Ans. An electric cell is a portable source of electrical energy. A device that produces electricity from chemicals stored inside it or a device which is used to produce small amount of electricity by chemical reactions is known as electric cell.

उत्तर: विद्युत सेल विद्युत ऊर्जा का एक पोर्टेबल स्रोत है। एक उपकरण जो अपने अंदर संग्रहीत रसायनों से बिजली पैदा करता है या रासायनिक प्रतिक्रियाओं द्वारा थोड़ी मात्रा में बिजली उत्पन्न करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है, उसे विद्युत सेल कहा जाता है।

Ans. An electric lamp is a device that gives light when electricity passes through it.

उत्तर: इलेक्ट्रिक लैंप एक ऐसा उपकरण है जो बिजली प्रवाहित होने पर प्रकाश देता है।

Ans. Cell holder is a simple device in which more than one cell can be placed properly to form a battery.

उत्तर: सेल होल्डर एक सरल उपकरण है जिसमें बैटरी बनाने के लिए एक से अधिक सेल को सही ढंग से रखा जा सकता है।

Ans. A conductor or electrical conductor is a substance or material that allows electricity to flow through it.

Example: Copper, silver, gold, etc.

Ans.  An insulator is a material that resists or blocks the flow of electricity or heat.

Example : Plastic, rubber, ceramics, etc

Ans. Wires are covered with insulators to protect us from electric shocks.
